How it works

Walk through joining Patient Watch with interactive demo screens - from your invite to your first questionnaire and reminders.

Estimated time
5 min

Before you start

  • You need an invite from your care team (QR code or email link).
  • Demo screens use example data only - use your real invite in the live app.
  • Most first-time setup takes around 5-7 minutes; later check-ins are usually 2-3 minutes.

Step 1

What Patient Watch is

Treatments affect everyone differently. Patient Watch helps your clinician see how you are recovering between visits. You answer short questionnaires on your phone - they turn into a chart like the one in the demo.

Patient Watch

Your recovery over time

Short questionnaires become a chart you and your care team can both see.

  • Care tailored to you based on how you are actually recovering
  • A record of your progress you can look back on with your team
  • Gentle SMS or email reminders when an entry is due
  • Works in your browser - nothing to install
  1. You are not being tested - there are no right or wrong answers, just an honest snapshot at each time point.
  2. Tap How to get started on the demo screen to preview the invite flow.
  3. When you have a real invite, use Get started for real to open the live app.

Step 2

Confirm your account

You should have an invite from your care team. Confirm the email or phone they used for you - that is how we know it is really you before opening your diary.

Enter your one-time code

Open your messages or email, find the 6-digit code, then enter it here. It is an essential part of data security for healthcare software.

Step 7

Complete your questionnaires

These are standard clinical questionnaires, developed and validated by researchers to measure pain and function. Your care team uses the same kind of tools in research and practice.

  2. Pick an option and tap Next; tap Submit on the last question to continue.

  2. Tap Next on the demo to see what a reminder looks like.

Step 9

Your text reminder

When the next check-in is due, you get a short text with the date and a link back to your diary. Tap the link, sign in, and answer the questions.
