How schedules work
A schedule is the set of time points when each questionnaire in a template becomes due. When you add a diary from that template, Patient Watch calculates due dates from the procedure or injection date (or from invite date if you prefer).
Patients see the next due entry on their diary home page. Clinicians and secretaries see status in the patient list - active, pending details, overdue, or complete.
Default timing
Set in your template
When you create a template, you choose which questionnaires run and when - relative to the procedure or injection date.
Automatic reminders
Patients receive email and SMS when an entry is due or overdue. Secretaries can send an extra nudge from the app if needed.
Catch-up entries
Missed a window? Patients can still complete overdue entries from their diary home page.
Common patterns include baseline before treatment, early follow-up at 2 to 6 weeks, and longer-term checks at 3, 6, or 12 months. Your template defines the exact pattern for your clinic.
Custom schedules
Standard templates cover most injection and surgery pathways. If you need different time points - for example weekly for six weeks, or study-specific windows - we configure that in your template.

Reminders
Reminders go out by email and SMS when an entry is due. If a patient falls behind, overdue entries stay on their home page and they continue to receive prompts.
Secretaries and clinicians can send a manual reminder from the app when someone needs a nudge. Seein-app help for where to find that action.
Super Users
Super Users in your clinic can propose schedule changes with us - for example adding a 12-month follow-up to an existing template - without every request going through a single clinician.
